My design journey began in 2015 in India, where I cut my teeth working with digital agencies and crafting visual identities for renowned brands. These early years were crucial; they gave me a mastery of design software and a sharp eye for aesthetics, laying the visual foundation for everything I create today.
Relocating to Vancouver marked a pivotal shift in my career. Eager to dig deeper into the "why" behind design, I transitioned into UI/UX through my studies at Langara College. This allowed me to merge my visual background with human-centered methodologies, transforming from a graphic designer into a holistic product designer.
This evolution continued at HSBC, where I took ownership of the customer-facing mobile application. Here, I learned the critical skill of balancing business objectives with engineering constraints, ensuring that user needs weren't lost in translation. Most recently at Kanopi Studios, I refined this approach further, simplifying complex web and mobile ecosystems into accessible, modern, and user-friendly interfaces.
Growing up in India and building a life in Canada has taught me to embrace diverse cultural perspectives in my work. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me capturing moments through photography, creating collages, or exploring new parks with my dog, Chai.
